Account and security cookies
Authentication cookies keep you signed in and allow the server to verify account access. Removing or blocking them can sign you out and prevent protected pages from working. Authentication expiry and renewal are managed by our account provider.
Preferences and saved progress
Local storage remembers choices such as your light or dark interface theme and may preserve unfinished questionnaire progress in that browser. This can include personal answers. Use a trusted device, and clear saved site data when you no longer want that information retained locally. Clearing storage may remove unsaved progress.
Analytics and third-party services
Optional Google Analytics and administrative traffic counters start only after you choose Allow analytics. Essential only keeps them off. You can change your choice using Cookie settings. Analytics use general page categories rather than names, search text or private link identifiers. Our own traffic reports retain up to 90 days of visit history and measure session length, active time, pages visited and broad traffic sources and device categories. A browser exclusion preference can prevent collection without changing essential account functionality. Technical request and security logs may still be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
PayFast, WhatsApp and other external services opened from myLongo may use their own cookies. Their policies govern activity on their sites.
Your controls
You can inspect, delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Private browsing and clearing data affect only that browser and do not delete your myLongo account. Contact hello@mylongo.io if you need help with stored account information.
