Written conversations today
Answers, replies and selected signals are stored to operate Rotation. Mutual connections have an ongoing message history. Each person can share contact details voluntarily. A virtual-meeting or phone-call request is a signal of interest only; participants arrange any actual call themselves outside myLongo. Private connection decisions are withheld until both people decide, and a non-connection does not identify who declined.
Recording requires a separate choice
If myLongo introduces recording or transcription, it will require a clear, separate opt-in from both participants before recording begins. Declining will not remove access to the ordinary written exchange. The purpose, access controls, retention period and withdrawal or deletion process must be shown before consent is requested.
The retention period and deletion controls for any future recording feature will be explained before it is enabled.
Respect the other participant
Do not use external screen-recording, audio-recording or transcription tools during a Rotation call without the other participant’s explicit consent. Do not publish or share a recording or another person’s private information without appropriate permission. Report misuse through Rotation’s safety tools or hello@mylongo.io.
Future changes
Any future recording feature must comply with applicable South African privacy and communications law. Enabling it will require an updated policy and the consent flow described above; accepting these pages today is not consent to a future recording.
